Subtle, but extremely appreciated. It seems at least some are beginning to recognize heightism as an issue.

This is an excellent find, Cole! You're right, it does sound good hearing heightism mentioned alongside of forms of discrimination that society condemns instead of celebrates. To be completely honest, I wish he wouldn't have followed-up the height comment with "eye color" because it sounds that to some degree, he's just doing the typical thing people do where they're trying to prove their point by making a half-ass stand against all forms of discrimination. An example of what I'm talking about is when we talk about heightism, people will make the following argument.
"Well yeah, you shouldn't discriminate, whether we're talking about height, people with big ears, people with certain hair color..." and so on and so-forth. The aim of these arguments is to make a half-assed stand against "all discrimination" in order to make the point that we don't need a separate effort to fight specifically against heightism. In this case, Tucker Carlson was somewhat making the same argument against fighting racism.
However, it is great that he linked height with an "immutable physical characteristic." It is now 2017, and there are seriously morons in our society who still believe that short people "didn't drink enough milk as a child" or some other idiotic folk wisdom. I think that deep down, a lot of people know better than that, but they "need" to believe that being short is something that occurred because of negligence on the short person's part because doing so gives them the green light to continue believing negative thoughts about short people and to keep cashing-in on the discrimination that results. The short person's dignity, humanity, reputation, and much of the human decency that is granted to the greater part of the population gets sacrificed to protect the ego of the person doing the discriminating. This is just a benefit of being a part of any group that is considered superior to another group. So, for those reasons, it was good to hear height linked with immutable physical characteristics. Once again, it would've been better if he left eye color out of it because heightism is a whole other can of worms, but at this point in-time, I'm just glad to hear height mentioned, especially when Carlson is a tall man. It probably would've been even more extraordinary to hear a short man mention height because short men have been shamed into silent subservience, but we all see what happened to John Bercow when he spoke-out about heightism that occurs in Parliament.
