Sometimes I've seen tall guys online random bring up their height for no reason. It could be a thread on random TV shows or whatever and some guy will throw in that's he's 6'2." Have you seen this?

Absolutely. It's not so random to them though. They're so used to being praised for their height that when they need their ego refilled, they'll just blurt their height out in some nonsensical fashion to try to gain some unearned praise. I used to work with a tall guy who would bring up the fact that everyone else in our department was short or the fact that he was tall on a daily basis. Then, one day, we were all seated at a table, and he was standing in the corner of the room, and out of nowhere, he just started laughing smugly and said "I'm tall." They can be really obsessed with their tallness, and even more obsessed with being praised for it. It's not hard to see why they're this way because the ones who were tall when they were children got praised for it starting at a young age, so they feel like the world is ending when no one praises them for it for any moderate period of time.
