"I grew up on that side of the tracks, and it was never a problem. You could look at me and tell that I belonged there so I was always greeted and never targeted. It would be the unfortunate guy that wandered into the neighborhood in a polo short who'd have to worry, regardless of height. When it comes to being robbed, I have experience (regrettably) on the other side. And no, we never picked a target because he/she might be easy. Easy doesn't pay. We picked targets based on what it looked like they were carrying. A suit always meant a watch at least even if he wasn't carrying cash, which was rare pre-debit cards. Big guys got no pass by themselves, although you might pass on two big guys where you wouldn't two smaller guys."
This was his response to OP saying he grew up in the hood and was targeted because of his height. BoomerBeta is 5'1, claiming he robbed the biggest guys possible all the time. Yes, you can rob people with a gun regardless of your height, but the fact that he used this to deny yet another example of heightism is what makes this story nonsense. That guy is about as mentally weak as you can get. He can't internalize anything that would allow him to believe that people perceive him as weak, which is the ultimate sign of weakness. Simping aint easy, but he makes it look that way. This story isn't even believable. So, he lived in the hood, yet, there were always random ass dudes in suits with Rolexes and Polos just wandering around everywhere. Also, I love how he was always greeted on the sidewalk by everyone. What Mayberry part of the hood is this? You just gotta love living in a hardcore hood where everyone greets you on the sidewalk and gives you a green bean casserole because you "look like you belong there." Now, I know what Coolio meant when he was talking about living in a Gangsta's Paradise.
