On r/short, Danny Devito is one of the celebrities always mentioned as the proof that all short men can be rich, famous, and a lady killer. This is of course ridiculous on its face when none of Devito's roles depict him as such. He is of course not a reprehensible amount of Garminesque to the level of Kevin Hart, but at this stage of his career, there is no reason for him to prance like this for people at a political rally before speaking. It seems like Trump can't open his mouth without insulting short men as of late, so this Garmin outburst by Danny Devito is poorly-timed to say the least. He should be ashamed for acting like a whipping boy when he is already well-established as a mainstay in Hollywood. He's 75 years old and still feels the need to self-deprecate as a means to seek the approval of others. This is not behavior that short men should emulate. https://www.reddit.com/r/short/comments/f2bgfy/danny_devito/
Of course, r/short is praising him for this display of subservience. This is not shocking news.
Edot: I think this actually occurred a few years ago, but it's being discussed on r/short and r/gifs today

Also, look at the stream of conversation after this comment.
"And the boys over at r/shortcels will say all that confidence is just cause hes loaded lol." https://www.reddit.com/r/gifs/comments/f25cnl/danny_devito_bringing_his_stool_to_a_bernie/fhalgvs
Imaging being in denial about heightism so hardcore that you think Devito's perceived confidence in life has absolutely nothing to do with his fortune and fame. After that, the conversation goes onto scold r/shortcels for being "too focused on their height." Hmmmm....On one hand, they're praising Danny Devito for making an imbecile of himself when no one provoked him, yet, they're going with all-out condescension toward short men who may discuss heightism with some level of seriousness. I know there are some outlandish things said at r/shortcels, but it's extremely telling that people can be opposed to short men "being focused on their height" sometimes, yet, when short men prance for tallers by self-deprecating, all of a sudden, they get a pat on the head. Devito is obviously "focused on his height" if he's acting like a lapdog after all of his accolades, but this seems to be ok for all of the know-it-alls who have the strongest opinions about this matter. Nope....nothing suspicious about that at-all.

Shortcels are about the only group of people as on point about heightism as us . A lot of what they say can indeed be considered hatred, but when it comes to their talks on heightism and just be rich to compensate, they really hit the nail on the head almost all of the time. It is interesting the the definition of “focusing on your height”, depends not on the quantity of how much the short man in question is focused but the emotion behind it to average idiots like these on reddit. However, we know the reason is that it’s not the “focus” on the height, it’s only the short men who are “insecure” and don’t do this kind of shit. WHICH is funny considering how insecure they themselves would get if Devito was to do a 180 and be a short role model (not that a 75 year old almost billionaire will change his ways) .I don’t know how anyone can think someone so successful can be comparable to the average short man and not even question the idea.

I heard recently that his wife left him. I guess he missed one day of his daily self-deprecation routine. That's okay though, because the way people praise him, he'll be swimming in pussy in no time.
Also reminder Kevin Hart, the ultimate garmin, recently admitted he's insecure about his height in that Vanity Fair interview. Yet women and simps are still pushing the "be a short clown or else you're insecure" shtick. They should spend the same amount of time peer-pressuring women into making fun of their own weight. Equality, right?
Seriously though, many young short men are joining incel forums because that's one of the few places where they aren't gaslighted. When these guys notice how it's society that cares about height, they aren't told "just make fun of yourself" or "the only one who cares about height is you." I would prefer if short incels stopped with the edgy comments and frog memes, and posted here instead though.
