Yesterday, Trump referred to Adam Schiff as "Liddle' Adam Schiff." First, Schiff is average height, but average height is short by political standards, and if you're not "certifiably" tall in politics, people are definitely going to question your ability to lead. Trump is just reflecting the views of the population(and all sides of the political spectrum) with his constant height shaming.

Second, there is actually backlash about Trump's comment, but guess what? The backlash is all based on the incorrect apostrophe he included in "Liddle'" and the fact that he referred to the apostrophe as a "hyphen" in his Twitter tantrum regarding this incident. Can you imagine how quickly a short man would get labeled with short man syndrome if he threw a tantrum because someone criticized his punctuation? Also, if he shamed any other marginalized group, it would set off a social justice stampede, but since he shamed short men, everyone focuses on his inability to use punctuation.
Also, on the other side of the aisle, during the Democratic debates, Kamala Harris compared Trump to the villain from The Wizard of Oz. She stated that Trump is like that character because when you pull back the curtain, it's "just a really small dude." She said this to George Stephanopoulos, who is constantly criticized for his height, and in the aftermath of the comment, Stephanopoulos laughed like a good little Garmin, and Harris gave a condescending "I wasn't talking about you." While this was happening, everyone in the audience, the moderators, and most of the candidates were just laughing it up having a good old time. Harris, who is a few inches shorter than average by female standards, apparently thinks that Trump doesn't deserve to be given privileges and respect like a tall man, thus, she equates him with a "really small dude" from a children's movie. No one can seriously think that any woman who equates "little men" with cartoon villains has any respect toward short men.

It's all just a big laugh fest on both sides of the political aisle when it comes to short men, but let's focus on what's important, which is punctuation
