I'm not here to criticize OP's post, but you guys feel free to add any commentary about it if you desire.
My issue is all of the regular sad sacks who showed-up to defend against an imaginary short guy who "blames all of his problems on his height"
"doesn't live life to the fullest because of his height," "hides in the shadows and never emerges because of his height," etc.
Who the hell is this mysterious person they are all rallying against? They rally against the ghost of this person in every thread, yet, he rarely makes an appearance. There's certainly not anyone who matches this description in the current thread and there's rarely anyone who fits the same description in most other threads. The truth is that the boogie man they are all defending against is the fictitious caricature of a "loser short guy" that has been supplanted in their minds by talls, women, and the media all of these years. The rare, short guy who does fit this description is normally fourteen years old, thus, should have his outbursts dismissed as childhood immaturity and should never be mentioned again, yet, the majority of discussions degrade into railing against this enemy who only exists in minor doses.
In this thread, we have adults(such as RedneckGymrat) who are attacking this imaginary caricature instead of addressing the topic of discussion. Short men who do this are showing that they are buying into the status-quo conditioning that states most short guys don't live life to the fullest, especially ones who discuss heightism. This is one of the status-quo's favorite tricks to keep the focus off its own transgressions. If they can derail the conversation by having short men lash-out against imaginary "perpetual loser" short men instead of attacking heightism and heightists, the status-quo's monopolization of the social narrative is never questioned. We've seen this on an endless loop. The men of r/short are always either attacking incels, red-pillers, misogynists, guys who don't lift weights, or fictitious caricatures of short men that are nothing more than negative stereotypes strung together, but these misguided short men never focus on the status-quo that has put these stereotypes in their minds to begin with.
The reason these guys never stop to consider how they've been duped into attacking imaginary boogie men is they are terrified that if they do so, they'll be accused of being one of these alleged prototypical loser short guys. Instead of attacking the notion that it's ridiculously discriminatory to hold short men to different standards than others, they peacock loudly in a circle while attacking this made-up caricature of a pathetic short man in-order to distance themselves from the chance of being classified as one of these types of men. They throw away every chance to challenge the status-quo in-favor of swinging a broom at the ghosts that they have been conditioned to fear. They are absolutely terrified and their terror manifests in this perpetual ghost hunt that is grounded in discriminatory fiction. When you think about it, they're really just Garmins who are exhibiting false machismo to please the status-quo. Regular Garmins perpetuate their subservience by playing the role of comic relief, but the misguided simpletons in this scenario are volunteering to be hand puppets who act-out the status-quo's make believe narrative as a means to disrupt any chance to challenge the status-quo directly. The sad thing is many of them aren't even aware that they're being manipulated in this manner. This is one of the reasons why status-quo indoctrination is so difficult to challenge. When the people who are negatively affected by the status-quo are on a wild goose chase for geese of questionable existence, it's borderline impossible to bring them back to reality.
