In order to get respect, let’s just pick up a short guy any time you order something, to assert dominance, of course. By the way, the short guy better not fight back, because if he did, he would’ve been branded short man syndrome, inferiority complex, Napoleon complex, etc., and instantly loose respect either way. http://instagram.com/p/BpKshKsgFH9

Wow. This is awful(but typical) and is a great example of the entitlement many tall man display and the amount of open disrespect toward short men that is tolerated. I wish the video would've gone on for a few more seconds so we could've gotten a better idea of the short man's reaction, but if that happened to me, I guarantee you it wouldn't have ended with a smile and whatever comment the short man uttered.
Also, notice how it looks as though the bartender doesn't seem to be making any type of effort toward having the criminal removed from the premises, and yes, he is a criminal because of the battery he just committed. If he had done this to a woman, this could very-well ended-up being be the social justice outrage of the week, and we'd all be forced to "start a dialogue" about the dangers women face from the evil male gender, but this video will be treated as a joke and everyone will criticize the short guy's actions, or at best, call the tall a douche and move on.

I also want to point-out how the logic exhibited in that Instagram video is the same logic Dairy Queen thought was hilarious in this commercial
To talls, short men are often seen as either mere inconveniences to be moved away like an inanimate object, such as in the video that is the subject in the thread, or, as in the commercial, props to be picked-up and played with in-order to help a tall man prove a point, or, to garner some cheap laughs.

It looks like the creators of that commercial know it’s inappropriate for a big guy to manhandle a small guy. The main character said something like “um, you don’t have to pick him up, not necessary.” Yet, that whole situation is hilarious to them, they just had to broadcast it on tv. Also, I keep noticing the media likes to promote black men to be really large in stature. Like, it’s seriously the most popular trend I keep seeing. Imagine how short black men feel.
About the bartender. How did he manage to catch that on film?Something tells me the video guy and that blonde idiot are behind this. Either that or tall guys pose their superiority complex all the time at the bar.
