The Jeremy Kyle show is a UK tabloid talk show dealing with fiery confrontations, family feuds, exes at war, relationship problems and topical issues in front of a studio audience.
However, he notices an opportunity to mock a short man, and in spite of all of this, he can't ignore it.
He puts his hand up high, ridiculing the producer's short height, and says "click here, cause he's that short", probably figuring since the show was ending he was running out of time to flaunt his average height..
What's absurd is I've even seen an episode where he confronted a double standard men faced, and he usually doesn't turn a blind eye to most male problems, and on his show uses Lie Detector, DNA Testing.
He also claims to use a "No nonsense approach". but he still felt like had to make a height joke, never mind the fact that he isn't even tall .
Of course this is par for the discussion, but it's still appalling that someone who has no problem calling out bad behavior, resolves conflicts, and is supposedly analytical still feels like he has to denigrate a shorter man on his show to enhance his social status.
