On heightboard, the website mentioned in another thread, a lot of them say they "feel for short guys" but then say they know what it was like because they were short as kids, and still complain 24/7 about being "really tall". Why do they act so strange when short mens' issues are brought up? Seriously, they seem to be half assedly accepting heightism. For example heightboard.com/thread-Tall-people-who-say-it-s-not-bad-to-be-short?highlight=tall+people, they try to sympathize with short men and convince them its in their head. I can't believe they don't realize how different their opinions are on it.

I think that even though they "struggle" with being "too tall," they still feel compelled to exercise their "born leader" status as tall men by scolding and correcting short men. They want to play the role of the "tall savior" who "knows what short men go through," and are imparting pearls of wisdom that short men can "overcome heightism if they just don't think about it." Basically, even tall men who think they are helping are doing so from a basis where they think they know more about the plight of short men than short men do. The fact that they believe their opinions about what short men go through are more valid than the opinions of short men themselves shows the level of entitlement they have accumulated as tall adults.
