Those of you who know r/short know that one of the main issues over there is the main moderator is a 5'8 dickwhistle who uses the "I live in a tall country" justification to identify himself as short. He also is a mod on r/tall, and can always be found dandyprancing for the tallers by playing the role of "well-behaved short man." He has tried to silence me before because he believes that it is up to short men to dispel negative stereotypes by being good little boys just like everyone wants us to be. He thinks we can "win hearts and minds"(yes, that's a direct quote) by being happy-go-lucky goobers who don't cause any trouble. The weird thing about him though is that every once in a while, he will admit that heightism is an issue and will discuss some of the facets of heightism. He's a bit like Mikey Pants because his opinions contradict one another, and he won't dare criticize those who discriminate.
Here's a nugget of nonsense from today where he apparently put a white knight suit on, and is declaring that women never treat short men worse than tall men, other than in-regard to sexual preference.
"Not really. The respect is usually there, but on the other hand there will be very, very little 'sexual tension' when I'm interacting with girls/women, something I tend to see a lot more when the same girls are dealing with more 'masculine' men. So, I don't get treated worse than tall guys by women, but I tend to be more invisible when it comes to 'gigglish banter'"

You see that? He literally just said that women respect short men equally as much as they respect tall men. Of course, he made the typical lunkheaded mistake of dismissing an entire trend based on his personal experience, but another asinine part of his comment is the attraction women have to tall men is largely based-on the respect they have for them on the basis that tall men convey social status. People like Garminbuba have been ruining our chance of progress for years, and it doesn't look like they're going to stop any soon.
It gets better too. Look at the winner who replied to Garminbuba
"Exactly! It's not a lack of respect, it's a lack of sexual attraction. It's the same when i'm sure all these guys talk to more unattractive girls. You don't hate them, you just aren't into them, and you don't flirt. But depending how confident they are and how they interact with me can change the way I see them entirely."
Ahhh...yes. On my twitter feed, I have several years with thousands of tweets showing that girls actually do despise short men(and I don't even retweet 10% of the ones I find) but there's no evidence that women hate short men beyond not being attracted to them, and yanno...as this doofus says...some good old kawwwnfoodinz will dispel all of that immediately. I'm amazed by the stupidity people will believe so as to not bust the bubble they live-in.
