www.reddit.com/r/short/comments/...?context=3 Once again, because there is a dwarf on that sub no one taller can complain. Bikerbitch: Trust me man, being 5'1" isn't a death sentence. It's survivable, I promise. Your career in the NBA is doubtful, but everything else life has to offer will be there for you in one fashion or another". What a retard. Just because he's 13" taller than a mod who is "well adjusted" doesn't mean 5'1" isn't short as fuck. It's still short as hell, barely any better than being 4'0", and these idiots think you can't complain unless you're literally 4 feet tall. R/short pisses me off, they invalidate others' struggles unless they are in the worst position Those morons are as delusional as it gets, they want people to listen but can't listen unless it's a confidence speech or anything positive.

It looks like the thread has been deleted, but nevertheless, that guy is such a raging toolbag. He represents himself as though he's the badass of the century and wants us to believe that no tall man would ever think of disrespecting him. At 5'1, he either knows good and damn well that he gets treated like a pinata, or, he's a recluse who never ventures out into the world because he's terrified of being reminded of his whipping boy status. The other delusional fuckguppies of r/short will join-in on his rah-rah chorus, and so will tallers who want to deny that heightism exists, but if those tallers were honest with themselves, they'd 100% admit that they would uncontrollably laugh to the point of abdominal explosion at the notion of a 5'1 little tough guy representing himself as the badass of the century. It just really sucks that the invention of the internet has acted as an outlet for these cowards to mask what's really going-on in the world, and to place themselves as superior to other short men by developing a pseudo-badass persona. As you all know, I've met one of the main wannabe badass simpletons of r/short IRL, and seeing these types of fuckdandies congregating at r/short has been an absolutely pathetic display through-and-through. I'm glad you posted this because we've been needing some activity here.

I've noticed. This forum is eerily quiet, I don't know if the challenge of fighting heightism has caused people to stop in their tracks or what, every year we seem to loose many allies and never find ones to fill the void. Men fighting heightism are the biggest minority I've ever seen.

I've noticed. This forum is eerily quiet, I don't know if the challenge of fighting heightism has caused people to stop in their tracks or what, every year we seem to loose many allies and never find ones to fill the void. Men fighting heightism are the biggest minority I've ever seen. This has been an ongoing problem. It's a constant revolving door, but to be honest, we're not even seeing the amount of new blood that we used to. We used to get one or two fly-by-night participants in the anti-heightism world here-and-there, but even that seems to have come to a grinding halt. I think what we're facing right now is people are really sick of social justice causes in-general, and due to the social climate of the last 2-3 years, things are even more inhospitable for us than they would even normally be. There are two or three pet causes that are going to get all of the attention for the forseeable future, and none of the folks within those causes are going to extend us any support. If more short people would participate in these dialogues, we could at-least develop a sense of community amongst ourselves, but we all know how that's going to work-out. Hopefully, the next generation of short people will provide some workable allies, but that remains to be seen.
