I just wanted to say that I've really appreciated everyone's posts as of late. Things have looked really grim on the anti-heightism front lately, as I disussed in this thread heightismhub.freeforums.net/thread/143/anti-heightism-dead-waterBut the few of you who are making posts are doing an excellent job of continuing the dialogue. We don't have a tremendous amount of numbers here, but I feel like we're starting to develop somewhat of a nucleus, and we're just several competent posters away from being able to make some noise. I just wanted to let everyone know that I've been really inspired by the recent participation, and if we keep the momentum going, hopefully, we'll encourage a few others to come out of the shadows. Those who are in the shadows, I'd like to encourage you to join us and become part of the solution.

I check this forum, your Twitter accounts, Joe's site, your blog, etc. on a pretty regular basis, so even if I don't post anything for weeks I'm still always around. If anything good comes up I don't miss it.

I check this forum, your Twitter accounts, Joe's site, your blog, etc. on a pretty regular basis, so even if I don't post anything for weeks I'm still always around. If anything good comes up I don't miss it. Good to hear that because I do the same thing. It's always good to remind ourselves that we do have allies who can articulate the nuances of heightism. Your blog is the best in the business when it comes to pointing-out the repetitive rhetoric and contradictions that people use to shut down heightism conversations. This is why I put your "Confirming Stereotypes" series as the first entry in the Gold Star Posts forum. To the rest of you who post here, just know that joining these discussions isn't just about shutting down heightists, pointing-out hypocrisies etc because one of the beneficial qualities of this forum is it energizes those of us who create content, and it inspires us to move forward. Everyone who posts here is doing something positive by being part of the nucleus that will one day move things forward. For that reason, I encourage the lurkers to join these discussions.

Thank you HeightismReport! I jump back and forth from blogs to this website to twitter, and check consistently so I can learn as much about heightism, and i've been doing it this way since I started. I also have realized that every person makes a difference where there is nobody in our fight, so I had to stick around to be a part of something I understood better than the vast majority of society and I can make contributions to.
