HeightismReport, In the post about how we've flatlined you said that short men that help the cause post in a piece meal fashion, does this mean we need to help on twitter to be useful and post on here less? Isn't discussing it on here a step foward, because of this safe space from bigots who protect the status quo?

Discussing heightism here is a good thing, but the fact that there are less than five of us who put forth any effort here is an indication that short men are afraid of their shadow even more so than they were several years ago. Yes, I need more support on Twitter too, and we also need more help in the blogosphere, and everywhere else for that matter. Discussing it is a step forward, but the fact that there are so few short men these days who want to discuss it both here and elsewhere, is a step backward. Even though there was never a multitude of short men ready to come forward, the Garmin, little tough guy, positivity fluffdandy etc., opposition hasn't ever been nearly as strong as it is today. When I first started doing this, it looked like we were a few steps away from cobbling together somewhat of a network, but we have regressed in a major way in the past few years. Being that we don't have numbers, it makes it too easy to write the few of us who do approach this issue as extremists, so we're just basically spinning our wheels without moving forward. There's not much we can do to change that other than keep pouring on the evidence just in case a few short men might want to join the cause here-and-there. For now, the pseudo-positivity crowd and the platitudes spouted by tallers and women have won.

I think we need to just keep posting here as well as other sites. It's a lot of work, and it takes a lot of time. I'll have to keep going into twitter as well as reddit. God, too many websites and passwords. So annoying, but I'm willing to do it to support people like me.
I personally do not like Reddit, because, really, it's crappy to newcomers, which makes it difficult to feel motivated to come back to it. None of my comments are being posted in there because I haven't gotten any likes. I guess I have to produce my first post there to even comment on anything. Twitter and Facebook would be the better way to go, I think.
I keep coming back here, cuz I found this hub from supportfortheshort website. I like this site, because it does not derail from heightism like Reddit does, and it talks more about our plights than any other sites.
