It isnt enough to just post here about heightism. I think that we need to come together and make this a movement. I am sewking people who want to create a real movement against hwightism, using popular media platforms and gathering others to join in the fight against heightism.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but you may need to slow your roll a bit. There are some of us who have been in this game for several years or more, so we know what works. I encourage you fully to spread awareness on every platform available, but you're not just going to come in here, immediately appoint yourself the group leader, and change everything around. The bulk of the serious posters already have other platforms, blogs, websites, etc., so we've been waiting for people to join us for years. You've made numerous posts now condemning the members of this forum for "only posting here" when that is far from the truth. Dealing with heightism is a different animal than dealing with racism or sexism because we are still in a phase where heightism is not only excused, but celebrated in society. By all means, spread the word wherever you can, and I'll be fully in your corner. Just make sure you don't make the mistake that so many others have of spending the bulk of your time criticizing our efforts instead of criticizing heightists.

I dont want to be abgroup leader. I just want to start a movement where all of us or some involved. I mean what good is it to only post here? No one ever said to only post here. That's a straw man argument on your part. As I already explained, a large percentage of us don't limit our efforts to posting here, but I guarantee you that when you move forward with your plans to spread awareness, every one of us will be in your corner. Posting here is still important though because we're trying to set a template for how to have an ongoing conversation about heightism without interruptions and being sidetracked by other stuff. This forum needs to be a one-stop-shop for people who want to see the different nuances of heightism and how to deprogram the indoctrination that everyone sees regarding short people. This forum isn't the only way to spread heightism awareness, and it certainly shouldn't be the only place heightism is discussed, but it is also an important part of garnering allies and moving forward. I encourage you to move forward with whatever plans you have to help this cause. That's what this forum is all about.

I agree. But this is my plan. I joined to discuss and team up with other people who want to fight against heightism. I am sharing about my experiences on gere, commenting on other people post and sending friend request. I do believe this should be a one stop..but i also believe in joining other people to fight against heightism.
