The other day, on my Heightism Report page on Twitter, I got into a heated exchange with a heightism denier. It all started with her declaration that we shouldn't be allowed to use the word heightism because it makes it sound too much like a real "ism." Obviously, morons who use that line of thinking don't understand how the English language works. Any far-reaching social trend or school of thought that we discuss in society is referred to as an ism. Socialism, Capitalism, Racism, Catholocism, etc. Just because all of these words end in ism doesn't mean that they are all the same. However, when it comes to short men speaking about their plight, people police everything about us, include our word usage. We're not allowed to use the words, methodologies, and remedies that other groups use, and we're not allowed to do anything that could compare us to another group in any way. They want us on an island all to ourselves. In reference to the recent Twitter dialogue, anyone who has taken two minutes to do a Google search can find a vast amount of literature on heightism and related studies that definitively prove that it is a substantial "ism" that is prevalent in society. So, I took exception to the notion that we aren't allowed to use the word "heightism."
When I addressed the loudmouthed simpleton who made the original tweet, I didn't pull any punches and didn't hold back in any way. I showed no respect toward her. She didn't earn respect by running her mouth about an issue that she didn't even bother to Google, so she get what she deserved. The exchange got extremely heated, and she eventually looked-up some of the literature on heightism, and actually apologized for speaking out of ignorance. The thing is, before I even got involved in the conversation, someone else was trying to explain heightism to her in the docile way that short people are expected to act. None of this influenced her to dig deeper. She only dug deeper when I rattled her cage, and even admitted that she would've never done the research if I didn't hit her with fire. Basically, the moral of the story is that short people need to stop policing one another, stop creating a comfort zone for bigots by always playing the nice guy and being passive, docile, weaklings. Sometimes, we need to bring the wrath in-order to make things happen. People need to understand that they're not going to be able to tell short people what words we can and cannot use, they need to get used to the concept that short people are allowed to be angry, and they damn sure need to know that we are removing their ability to tell us how to go about spreading our narrative. The nice guy act has done absolutely nothing for us. Respect is earned, and we have to quit creating a comfort zone for bigots by being good little boys to those who don't even attempt to learn about heightism before they speak as definitive experts on the issue.
Toward the end of the dialogue, she got a little too uncomfortable being vulnerable by admitting that she was wrong, to a short man of all people, and started telling me about how I was wrong to call her a "cunt." This was a power play on her part. Even though she admitted she spoke about heightism out of ignorance, she wanted to "save face" and regain her superior position by making me bow to her feminist beliefs. The only reason I called her a cunt to begin with is I know feminists hate that word, and using that word was a way for me to show her how it feels when someone completely disregards issues that affect you. Most people don't think with their brains, they think with their emotions, so you have to make them feel the heat that we feel before you can find common ground. So, anyway, I told her that she got called a cunt because she was laughing at the concept of heightism, and I don't owe her the favor of supporting her issues if she doesn't support my causes. After that, she deleted all her tweets, and apparently reported me to Twitter because my account is currently suspended. I didn't threaten her in any way, I didn't SPAM her page with a barrage of tweets that she didn't answer, I didn't DM her even once. All I did was called her a name and that was enough to get my account suspended. She was pissed because I didn't white knight for her after giving a dose of reality, and went and cried to Twitter about it. Kind of funny that she denied my statement claiming that she was an entitled child who knows nothing about reality, yet, she cries because I won't white knight her like most "inferior" short men would do in this same scenario. People can say anything they want about us, and if we utter one peep about it, we're held accountable for speaking our mind. If we use a word someone doesn't like, or call them a name without threatening or bullying them in any way, we receive a scolding to begin with, and then an account suspension if we don't re-establish our subservience immediately afterward. Time to start taking notice of the world around you, short men. It's time to stop hiding from the truth and start helping one another by confronting bigots and not tolerating the double-standards that we are constantly greeted with. You are allowed to be angry, and at this point, if you're not angry when you see someone shutting you down with completely irrational thinking, there seriously is something wrong with you. We deserve better than this, and it is up to us to stop tolerating this same loop of nonsense that keeps us in our place as an ignored group that is only allowed to participate when we're treated as whipping boys.
