"People have spent over the last 18 years trying to fight heightism by posting and re-posting heightist remarks people have made in the media and social media, in an attempt to expose and fight heightism. It didn't work. In fact it only added fuel to the fire, and made heightism more acceptable. The best and only way to fight heightism is through positive representation in the media. Like movies and television."

People have not been posting "heightist remarks" for 18 years. The internet was in its infancy 18 years ago, and there wasn't the resources and technology to post in the manner that we do now. Basically, less than ten people have been making these posts for about five years. This sniveling moron thinks that these posts, which are summarily ignored by everyone except for a handful of folks, have "added fuel to the fire." 18 years ago, the dialogue was about framing heightism as a social issue, introducing people to the various sources, and articulating stories about heightism experienced in everyday life. Some of it was done well, some of it was not done well, but it's kind of hard to post screenshots, tweets, and other social media comments...before any of those things existed.
Yes, positive representations in the media are good. Here's what the king of all short idiots doesn't understand though. In order for Hollywood producers to want to represent short males in a positive light, we need to live in a society where it is believed that short males need a better place in life. There is no context for producers to want to end the tradition of giving short males The Kevin Hart Treatment. We can't change the indoctrinated biases of Hollywoood without infusing society with knowledge about heightism.
Furthermore, to illustrate Captain Need To Be Kicked To Sleep's foolishness even further, he does absolutely nothing to advocate for positive Hollywood portrayals. All he does is attempt to soothe his own insecurities by trying to impress teenagers on Reddit with his Kunfident Cassanova facade, and by making childish and nonsensical remarks that blame anti-heightism dialogue for the fact that heightism has gotten worse. He won't ever tell you that he used to be a member of that group either.
His argument seriously boils down to society improving by the truth being ignored. If society is never held accountable for inconvenient truths that it sweeps under the rug, it has absolutely no incentive to change. Clowns who think otherwise don't deserve an opinion.
