Here they are. The jolly goat fuckstons of r/short speaking in favor of the "JUST HAVE CONFIDENCE" platitude that heightists use as the #1 way to stifle anti-heightism dialogue.

It doesn't matter if you're socially-inept and walk around staring at your shoes all day, what matters is that society will look at you as inferior just for being short, regardless of how you present yourself. Yes, confidence is good, but being short is still considered bad regardless, and this fact is the only thing that should be discussed. Many of those bootlickers aren't even aware that they're protecting the status-quo by always sabotaging the narrative. Your confidence can always be written off as "overcompensating" anyway, so that whole talking point is even more ridiculous than it seems. Those court jesters do a really great job of soothing the concerns of the status-quo by sabotaging the conversation and spouting heightist's platitudes for them. I wish we could call a pest control company to fumigate for Garmins. We could certainly use the help.

I'm so sick of hearing about kornfoodents, working-out, ironing clothes, and all of that other BS. None of that has anything to do with being short, but yet, short guys want to discuss that stuff instead of the actual issue. If they want to talk about working-out, getting a good night's rest, etc., they should go to an "Obvious Fucking Life Advice" subreddit. This is what short guys do though. They sit around blaming themselves for everything, and pass that self-blame off as some sort of accountability. Who cares if there are short guys who want to be sad sacks and not take care of themselves? Fuck those losers, stop giving them a voice, and stop diverting the attention away from the ones who want to discuss heightism. Basically, this whole focusing on the sad sacks issue is another "I'm one of the good ones" tactic. Instead of demanding to be respected like a taller, a lot of the clowns on r/short would prefer to show how they are better than the least flattering groups of short guys. Instead of stopping the BS altogether, the pseudo-badasses would prefer to pass the BS on down the hill to short guys who have even less social status. Truth be told, a lot of the short guys who do that are actually of low social status, but they just adopt a wannabe badass persona online in order to feel like they hold alpha characteristics for once in their life. This sad narrative is extremely transparent though, but is business as usual.
