Yeah I’m honestly afraid to witness how they’ll react to our new sub. They’re the worst subs to turn to, but any sub other than ours will still be bad. Also, I have a strong feeling r/tall and r/short members did stop by our sub sometime before, but decided to say nothing. About the traffic that we get, we still get about 200 page views a day. That is a LOT of page views, in my opinion. We get about 20 to 30 uniques a day, though, and I dunno what uniques mean. Total page views we got in the last 7 days is about 2,000. On April 18th, we got 437 page views for some reason, and that’s the highest page views we got in one day. I came up with idea that if we see any comment on other subs that are being discriminated against for their stature, then we can share our new sub to them. I tried to share the sub with some other members privately, but they said nothing. So, I dunno. A “unique” is a unique visitor. Many page views may come from just one person - “uniques” measure how many unique visitors (or more precisely, unique IPs) visit the page. It may also help to be mindful of the 1-9-90 rule. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/1%25_rule_(Internet_culture)The idea is that 1% of people on a forum are active contributors, 9% post from time to time and 90% are lurkers. So it could be that the message is being seen by many more people than are even upvoting posts - they could be silently agreeing.

Two-hundred page views a day is about what my website gets. As I said before, don't expect too much. As a matter of fact, don't expect anything, because you'll become disappointed very rapidly if you have any expectations. Any serious discussion of this topic is severely limited at this time. This is the way that it's been going back almost two decades. We have numerous enemies - The Media, deluded short men, short men in denial, short garmins, little tough guys and tough guy wannabes, short women (who have multiple "outs"), average-heighted men, Tall men, and mostly everyone else. This current "pandemic" is no help either, as people start to prioritize what is important in their lives, and when something like this comes along, they tend to put other things aside. This is a marathon NOT a sprint. You're speaking the absolute truth. I'll repeat the same mantra I've been repeating several years now. We can't be worried about immediate results when it comes to heightism; We merely need to worry about setting the template for when(and if) short men ever decide that enough is enough and want to make a serious attempt to change things for the better. We're not going to get the results we want any time in the near future. Our job is to keep collecting evidence and to keep having these types of conversations with the hopes that we make an occasional ally who sticks around for the long run. With so many forces working against us, in addition to short men being absolute absentees when it comes to providing support, results are not even possible at this point in time. As a matter of fact, part of our job is to let the historical record reflect that short men had absolutely zero interest in advancing their station in life. We just have to keep documenting things as they occur now, and hope that we eventually start to tip the scales in our favor. We've seen too many short men come in guns ablazing, only to disappear once they see that we aren't going to receive immediate results. Nothing that's happening now is anything new. We're still caught in the same unproductive cycle we were caught in two decades ago. Don’t get me wrong, I’ll keep posting no matter what. If we still don’t get anything there, I’ll continue posting new content anyway. I’ll come in guns ablazing and still come back with guns ablazing again. You guys did SO MUCH for anti-heightism, and for us short men. It’s unfair if I or any other short guy decides to opt out of fighting heightism. I want us to add up in numbers, even if it’s slow, and I’m sure you guys feel the same way. I’m aware it’ll be a marathon, but we can still come in guns ablazing if we choose and still go back to casually post more content. It’ll probably take us 10 more years until people finally wake up. If not, then 20 more years. Until then, we’ll keep spreading awareness of heightism, regardless.
