This study is the one where the media took the "feel less masculine" part of a study and decided to use it as proof for Napoleon Complex. The truth is not only was Napoleon Complex not mentioned in the study, but height was never mentioned either. However, the media is always salivating for a way to disparage short men and they figured that this was the perfect opportunity to use mental gymnastics to spin this into a hateful theory. There is no other explanation for this. This is an instance of journalistic malpractice and an example of blatant bigotry. There was no national story that this particular news station was using to dovetail into this discriminatory story; This segment was just thrown in for the sole purpose of degrading short men. There was no Bagel Guy incident "provoking" this story, it was just a wholesale desire to throw vitriol toward short men. It's all in our heads though, right? Heightism only exists online, right?
Here are the results of the study to illustrate that it had nothing to do with height file:///Users/brent/Downloads/cdc_53022_DS1.pdf

ATTENTION ALL LURKERS AND POSTERS
I'm currently tweeting the reporter who did the report in the video posted above. I'm also tweeting the network in Philadelphia he worked for when he did the report, in addition to the one he works for now in Phoenix to inform them of his bigotry and journalistic malpractice. The bonus is that by looking at his Twitter page, he's currently on his honeymoon. Basically, short men, there is no better time than now to send some heat his way. He's posting pictures of mountaintop sunrises, and if short men who read this will put forth at-least a minimal effort just by tweeting their dissatisfaction with his bigoted reports, we just might be able to make him feel some repercussions that bring him out of La-La land a bit. I'm serious. All hands on deck for this one.
His Twitter is @mattyurus
The station he worked for when he filmed the hateful segment is @cbsphilly
And the station he currently works for is @12news
C'mon guys. If we ever want to hold people accountable for heightism, we can't let opportunities like this pass us by

I finally decided to make my own twitter account. Sent him a message. Hope I did it right, cuz I don’t see my comment on his page.

I finally decided to make my own twitter account. Sent him a message. Hope I did it right, cuz I don’t see my comment on his page. Thanks for participating. Once again, short men didn't answer the bell so our "efforts" had zero impact. If just you and I make an effort, we just look like no-talent trolls or extremists, but if multitudes of short men would've made the slightest effort, we'd have gotten his and everyone else's attention. Short men aren't even at a point where they can even be bothered to send a tweet in their own defense though. Short men still want the same-old, same old, and society will be more than happy to grant them that wish.
