We all know that Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton harbor heightist beliefs. We also know that people waste no time in making height slurs about Vladimir Putin. We also know that tall men usually win presidential elections. We also remember George Bush Sr vitriolically referred to Daniel Ortega as "that little man." We also remember the controversy and the wave of heightism that was caused when John Bercow spoke of how wrong it is to shame a man for his height when other physical characteristics are off-limits Well, here we go again. It seems that Rahm Emanuel can't criticize his opponent's behavior without having his height immediately criticized. Absolutely no uproar will come as the result of this, and any attention that it does receive will agree with the bigoted Napoleon Complex statement. www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/politics/ct-bruce-rauner-senate-grand-bargain-met-20170307-story.html

The good thing here is that Emanuel is 5'7" and Bruce Rauner is 6'8". This is one of the rare times that a short man is labeling a tall man with a 'Napoleon Complex'. Maybe if we get more of these then the infamous label will be applied to Tall men instead of short men. Although I'm not a supporter of Rahm Emanuel I do like the fact that he takes it right to the tall man and doesn't grovel, instead of waiting to be labeled himself and then cowering, he pre-empts the 6'8" guy and labels HIM. I think you may have read the article incorrectly. Emanuel referred to Rauner by saying that "The emperor has no clothes," but then one of Rauner's staffers said that Emanuel has a Napoleon Complex. Emanuel criticized Rauner's actions, and Rauner's staffer criticized Emanuel's height.

But yes, at least Rahm wasn't catering to Rauner's superiority complex by refusing to label him at all. I think what you were getting it is that a lot of short men would've tried to play timid and nice regardless of what the situation was.

It seems like we're going to see this in every election that has a short man from now on. This thing has been going on forever too, so it's not just a new phenomenon as the goobers from r/short would preach. Michael Dukakis got roasted for a picture he took in a tank because he didn't look threatening enough, Lyndon Johnson used to try to push people around and would bump his chest into short man and look down on them, and American historians celebrate this as referring to it as "The Johnson Treatment," Ross Perot was always dismissed with comments about how he was like a little chihuahua etc., and on-and-on. People seriously need to wake-up because the evidence is overwhelming.

You really have to work hard to avoid adopting heightist mindsets it seems, even if you are an average height guy, height is brought up constantly and it's still getting worse, talk about downhill. We could use more short men like John Bercow on this forum. And yes heightismreport, instead of being timid, Joe was making the point that he tried to switch the narrative, even though it was just another tall douchebag using the easiest steretype to silence a short man. The hardest part in my opinion of all of this is reeducating EVERY person, regardless of their knowledge, we have to do all the legwork and that can take months to explain simple silencing tactic, because some people take so much unconditioning to understand the double standards being applied and aren't intelligent enough to sift through all of that even when we hand-hold, plus all of the parties involved as mentioned once before are heightist. Will my paper still be featured on sfts?

People seriously need to wake-up because the evidence is overwhelming. The people who are asleep are not as big of an issue of those with the power, especially short women who virtue signal, who can just label short men and the rest of the bigots will follow, and even in politics short men who voice get the same platitudes, and how are they supposed to fight when they are assigned a negative label either way. It really does seem like a sort of tradition that is present in every election, also Tiny Trump really caused the goobers on r/short and the rest of society a sadistic satisfaction, in knowing they can even put the label on tall men and use it as an insult. It's hard to sift through society to sort the groups, who is voluntarily bigoted, and who is indoctrinated without even realizing their state of mind.
