I know this is dating, but it’s got a garmin involved.

After they finished the date or something like that, the girl rejected him for his height.
Garmin’s reaction: “It’s cool. I was actually two dwarves the whole time. We’ll have to get a third, I guess. Thanks for the advice.”
It’s probably not real, but this is what short men should NOT to himself AT ALL.

This is definitely a worthy dating post. Not only does it show a Garmin being absolutely pathetic, but the fact that she "thought he would be taller" shows that she really enjoyed the conversations she shared with him and saw plenty of merit in him, but when she found-out he was short, all of his merit was swept aside. Furthermore, the fact that she just assumed he was taller because she saw merit in him absolutely demonstrates that she attributes positive character traits with tallness and negative traits with shortness.

Damn, that’s true. Didn’t realize that. So any guy who is short is automatically discredited, no matter what he does. This proves tall man privilege right there.

The assumption of tallness when merit is displayed goes far beyond dating too. I used to be known in my local area for some of my creative(non heightism related) work, and often, people who had only heard me on the radio, were familiar with my work from online etc. would meet me in person, and the vast majority of the time, they would tell me "I thought you'd be taller!" Like I said, this happened the vast majority of the time, and even when people didn't make a remark about it, they'd have this look of disgusted panic on their face as if they had been cheated.
