If you want to see the worst Garmin in the thread, look at the first comment. He/She says they stand on chairs when people won't look them in the eyes. (This comment is fitting considering something that happened this weekend. I'll post another thread about it)The poor fool can't seriously think this helps their cause. There's nothing any of us can do to help until we outnumber the court jesters who resort to tactics such as this. Also, a short female telling a bunch of short men to "own it" with comments that frame tall people as being superior to short people is laughable at best. The woman who posted the thread is damn near average female height at 5'3, therefore, has no clue about the opposition most short people face, especially short men. Just the fact that she attributes her assertiveness to "overcompensation" is an admission that she believes she is inferior to tall people. Why would you overcompensate if you don't feel inferior? When I'm assertive, I am so because the situation needs a certain level of bravado, and it has nothing to do with my height. Being that this woman is almost average height, imagine if a short guy who was almost-average height posted an identical thread. R/short would flame the dude for two weeks straight and declare an all-out war on 5'7-5'9 men. They've been fighting against those men for probably two years now, but when 5'3-5'4 women tell them what to do, they generally fall in-line immediately. There will be no two-year focus on stifling the voices of 5'3-5'4 women, and there will be no unified resistance against them. For this reason alone, even if her platitudes about "owning it" had any merit, they would be lost on a bunch of sad sacks who are prone to white knighting and will kick and scream their way out of attacking those who are the true source of their issues.

The attack on average heighted men but not women (of any height for that manner) is really tiring, and is very drawn out at this point . What I’ve noticed is that whiteknighting and heightism overlap in this manner. Even men around 5’8” (equal to 5’3” as a womann) are much more succeptible to criticism than a woman close to average by these short morons. Additionally,Men around average height are not allowed to give confidence speeches, suggest “overcompensation, and that it’s all in the heads of shorter men, but when a woman of the same relative stature does it, no one does a damn thing about it. They are also garmining by excluding average men who understand them because they know tall men are safe from the chains of society. What’s funny also is that they have applied the “confirming stereotypes” constraint to men near average height who act this way, but a woman gets to say the most ridiculous drivel ever and she never gets greeted with this hostility. Short men are expected not to confirm stereotypes, but these same men are doing the exact same thing to these 5’8” guys that society has done to them by putting them in this box. Getting back to this “Smol” garmins,a 5’3” woman thinking she faces any short problems is laughable at best, but she can say the most absurd of nonsense and it won’t get deleted. rshort has inflated these women’s egos to levels that would make prototypical white knights call them out.

They truly do expose themselves with the way they treat women versus males. Like HeightismAOS pointed-out way back when, Bikerbats dismisses all heightism studies, all personal stories of heightism from short men, and all-out denies the existence of heightism, but any half-assed anecdote from a short female is treated with the utmost seriousness. This sets the tone for the entire forum because like you've just pointed-out, they will scrutinize and roast average height men all day long, but average height women get treated as if their opinions are paved with gold. This shows how much of a disaster area their logic is because even though they are prolific white knights, they throw short women under the bus when a close-to-average height woman speaks. They don't do this intentionally; Their goal is just to cater to any woman who happens to be speaking at the moment, and in the case of 5'3-5'4ish women speaking, their desire to not be equated with shortness at-all prompts them to unintentionally ignore the struggles of short women as a means to win the favor of the average-height women who currently controls the conversation. My point is, their loyalties waver depending on which woman is currently speaking. If a short woman complains about heightism, it's suddenly time to take heightism seriously, but if an average-height woman is denying heightism and giving confidence speeches, they take her seriously. They aren't fooling any of us with their wavering loyalties that change from one thread to the next.
