She even gives him the old "it’s only a problem if you make it one" line. Yes, when people talk about short men like on the heightismxposed twitter account, the problem lies with short men.
OP was also clearly referring to how talking about or making fun of a woman's weight is extremely taboo. Barely anyone cares if a female is short, like how a girl with a high-pitched voice is viewed differently than a man with the same trait, so I don't why this Garmina as you call them decided to give her two cents.
I always hope these /r/short users are troll accounts, but one click on their profile reveals they really are simply this stupid. Let it be known that when the male suicide rate is so high, it's not due to "toxic masculinity" or whatever other scapegoat our culture pushes. The next time you see a woman pouring her heart out about her eating disorder, try responding with "just make fun of yourself" or "it's a problem if you make it one" then see if you get crucified. Then always remember how weight is more controllable than height.

Atleast she got downvoted. I also applaud OP for not bending over backwards to justify himself to this dumb garmina. This is just another par for the course example of heightism being the victim's problem and not society, whereas it's the complete opposite for other minorities.
I also love how this bitch can't see how much easier it is to self-deprecate when you're body conforms to gender norms. Like you said, women are expected to be short, so it's like a flat chested male telling a women with the same characteristic that "it's your insecurity that's the problem, or a middle class male lecturing a poor man on the insignificance of money. The advice is coming from someone who is nowhere near as harshly punished by society for said trait.

The fact that they removed/locked that short guy's post is indicative of everything we say about that place. They will happily and swiftly silence a short dude even when he's not breaking any rules, just because he's not whipped enough. Yet some garmin, tall person, or woman can often make a thread slandering short men in general, and the post will not only stay up but often be vastly upvoted.
